Best Climate Ever | Kanab UTAH

Kanab is a 4-season destination, and there is no better place to call home. Kanab’s central location and temperate climate (an average 256 sunny days per year) make it an ideal base camp for year-round exploration of canyon country. Average July high/low is 90/56F and average January high/low is 47/21F. Typically, Kanab gets an average annual rainfall of 19 inches, and has an elevation of 4,970 ft. 

Because Kanab gets to enjoy 4 seasons, you as a resident get a little taste of each! Winters are typically very mild, when it will snow in town but be melted within 24 hours. The leaves changing in Kanab are beautiful during the fall, and the blossom shows in the spring take your breath away!

Kanab UT Balloons & Tunes 2021 Event

Calling all Hot Air Balloon enthusiasts! Save the date for the 7th annual Balloons and Tunes Roundup February 19,20,21, 2021. 

If you’ve been wanting to adventure to Kanab but have needed a sign, THIS IS IT! You’ll never see anything quite as spectacular. This year we are expecting about 40 Hot Air Balloon Pilots over a beautiful Southern Utah weekend. We are hoping for perfect weather so our pilots can launch all three mornings! Hot Air Balloon Launches will take place at the former Coral Cliffs Golf Course in Kanab each morning at 7:30am (weather permitting). Starting Friday afternoon join us on Main Street for a one-of-a-kind vendor fair and listen to our bands!
